Apple has sent out media invites for a special event on March 8. The event will be an online-only affair and streamed from Apple Park, Cupertino. The invite comes with the tagline “Peek Performance.” It is expected that Apple will unveil the all-new affordable iPhone SE (2022) at the event. Also expected are a few more Apple devices. iPhone 13 at the event. The event will be held at 10 am PT (around 10.30 pm IST).

The event will be live-streamed on Apple’s website, its official YouTube channel and via the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
What to expect: iPhone SE, iPad Air and more
iPhone SE (2022): The most affordable iPhone.
Apple in all likelihood will take the wraps off the first iPhone of 2022. iPhone SE is said to come with a similar design as the second-generation device. It may retain a 4.7-inch retina HD display along with a TouchID home button. It is expected to come powered by Apple’s A15 Bionic chipset and may run iOS 15 out-of-the-box.
iPad Air (5th generation)
An all-new iPad Air is also expected to be unveiled on March 8. Little is known about the iPad Air but Apple has traditionally launched an iPad at the March event or via a press release, so the iPad Air could see the light of the day. The upcoming iPad Air is rumoured to have an A15 chip. Rumours also suggest that the new iPad Air will offer 5G support.
New MacBook with an upgraded processor
It could be the event where the M1 MacBook Air gets an upgrade. Rumour has it that a new iMac device with Apple’s own M1 processors could make its debut at the event.
The beta version of iOS 15.4 has been made public and brings a host of new features, including unlocking your iPhone while wearing a mask. The event could be the right time for Apple to roll out it to the general public.
